Julia Clarke is a yoga teacher and Certified Maharishi Ayurveda Wellness consultant whose path has brought her from Scotland to Vail, CO. Julia’s classes weave her deep connection with nature and her love of Ayurveda through dynamic and challenging Vinyasa Flow, contemplative Yin Yoga and thoughtful Restorative Yoga. Each class is artfully designed to invoke nature’s five elements within every student, inspiring confidence and curiosity. She began practicing yoga and Transcendental Meditation as a child, and came to the U.S. for a semester abroad in 2001. That semester was followed by 10 years working in the radio and recording industries before turning to teaching yoga, so she offers a natural sense of ease in surfing the waves of life, and meets students best in the realm of empowering transformation. She creates an inspired space for students to witness themselves in a state of constant evolution using intentional sequencing, an infectious sense of adventure, and good Scottish humor. Her root teachers are Shiva Rea, Shannon Paige and Douglas Brooks. Julia is the Yoga Director for the Vail Vitality Center, and leads workshops and trainings across the country.
